I read a column in the Metro Public Eye about erroneous endorsements for Sally Lieber, Democratic Candidate for 22nd Assembly District. I have been corresponding with Barbara Wardenburg, Santa Clara Co. Smart Voter coordinator, Leagues of Women Voters of Santa Clara Co.
I have sent numerous emails to all the endorsers and to Barbara Wardenburg about the endorsers and only ONE HAS BEEN FIXED. I have given all the information and phone numbers to Barbara Wardenburg and I get the feeling it's up to me to fix this problem - I am just one voter noting a problem - it's up to the League to insure the credibility of it's data on the Smart Voter site.

The League has always been the source of credible data on the candidates for voters during an election, and as a member of the League I am mortified that correcting data on your Smart Voter site is such a tedious process especially so close to the elections.
Since I am not getting any assistance from Smart Voter or the League - I am sending this to the press so that maybe they can follow up with the corrections.
The necessary corrections are in the following emails of non-endorsers and their phone numbers.

Dear Ms. Harris,
I am copying Sally Lieber on this email as the information about
endorsements came from her. If the persons named below are not supporting
Ms. Lieber's candidacy at this time then she must delete their names from
her list of endorsers. In the alternative, any of the persons named below
may contact Ms. Lieber and me and request that their names be removed from
the list of endorsers.
I look forward to a speedy resolution of this matter.
