RECALL SALLY LIEBER COMMITTEE
WILL INVESTIGATE FURTHER ACTS OF DISHONESTY
Mountain View, CA. Members of
the Committee to Recall Sally Lieber from the Mountain View City
Council met Friday night to discuss the recall in light of Lieber's
winning the Democratic nomination for State Assembly in the 22nd
AssembIy District. In the March 5th primary, Lieber received a
minority of the votes cast on the Democratic side and received
fewer votes than the number cast for Stan Kawczynski on the Republican
side.
The Committee decided to go into
an investigative mode looking into the many new instances of apparent
dishonesty by Lieber in her Assembly campaign. The recall website
(http://www.RecallSallyLieber.Org)
will be updated as the investigation proceeds.
It appears that Lieber was part
of a statewide scheme to deceive voters involving the use of "consumer
attorneys" from Southern California and a registered Republican
named Erin Brockovich. Among other things, Committee members will
be acquiring and comparing campaign literature used in the several
Assembly races in which "consumer attorneys" became involved.
